Football Fun

Last week we had lots of fun playing soccer in the inflatable soccer ring.

We have brought home a notice about having soccer lessons after school-please return the notice to school if you are really keen to play!  You can ask Mrs Beach for more information.

The Butterfly Life Cycle in Room 14

Wow! It has been very exciting to watch our caterpillar turn into a chrysalis and then a butterfly!

Can you describe what is happening in each photo?

Watch these short movies of the butterfly getting ready to fly:

Te Reo

Room 14 have been very lucky to have Billyjo (Julia-Rose's Mum) come in and teach us some Te Reo.

"Tena koutou Room 14" says Billyjo.
"Tena koe Billyjo" says Room 14.

Can you say hello to someone in your family?

Tena koe = hello to 1 person
Tena korua = hello to 2 people
Tena koutou = hello to 3 or more people

Can you teach your family these Maori words?

etu = stand enoho = sit
huri = turn around
haere mai = come here
paki paki = clap
